Covid-19, sensitise the entire population to adopt barrier gestures with a song, a right way to share…

The artistic and cultural project of the local group RIEH Afrique Minova-Bweremana organized a song competition aimed at raising awareness of barrier gestures against COVID-19, to be addressed to a large number of people through the radio.

 

 

This project, along with the initiative of the Local Group RIEH Afrique Minova-, is based on assistance in production and radio broadcasting, while ensuring mediation and public awareness, project support and networking. Using cultural action to know about the others’ diverse cultures, respecting the dignity of each person, accessible to a large number of people.

An action of popular education in a citizen's approach.

To do this, the Local Group RIEH Minova takes into account the linguistic diversity of the 7 languages spoken in the radio broadcast area, thus paying equal attention to the constituted public as well as to those who are far away, for geographical, social or economic reasons.

The fight against the COVID-19 pandemic was an opportunity to develop complementary actions and means at the service of the population and facilitated the expression of a citizen's approach:

 

To engage in a process of sustainable development, respecting good practices towards human rights by protecting it,

To encourage cultural diversity by all appropriate means: cultural activities, methods of dissemination, regional networking, optimisation of tools, mediation, support for cultural practices, knowledge of audiences and attendance,     

To communicate, to initiate partnerships, in the form of co-productions or broadcasts.

To initiate action to facilitate popular expression, by placing artistic creation at the service of personal and collective development, a civic approach and social dialogue.

 

Keep an open mind. A concern of the INHE which places the human being at the heart of its daily life and conveys through its actions values of citizenship, solidarity, commitment, sharing, doing together and transmission.
