Our Objective

Our network aims to promote the human economy as a common perspective on the challenges facing our humanity: inequalities, injustices, fundamentalism, extremism, violence and destruction of biodiversity. We are convinced that diverse groups of people, societies and the whole of humanity can organize themselves so that each person and all people live with dignity, be treated with justice and fairness, exercise their freedom, feel solidarity, assume their responsibilities vis-à-vis themselves, others and the nature that houses them and makes them live. We give this organization the name of "human economy".

Players

RIEH brings together diverse people and organizations (associations, unions, popular education movements, universities, local authorities, public services, economic actors ...) living and acting in Africa, South and South-East Asia, Maghreb and Mashreq, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe.

All of us, organizations and people, are campaigning to promote the human economy and work for the common good.

The Actions

RIEH is a network of exchange, reflection and proposal, which acts and works at the local, national, and global levels.

  •  We act on our respective territories.
  •  We exchange with each other to know and support each other.
  • We analyze our experiences to learn from them, (for example: as we did in the book Pathways of Human Economy).
  • We publish "Development and Civilizations”.
  • We intervene in the public debates to obtain the structural changes that allow our societies and humanity to move towards a more humane economy.

Our exchanges and our debates are based on the actions carried out by our members at the same time as they enrich the action of each one. Action and reflection are intimately linked.
